Carlos's pov
"Blondie blunder is a fucking princess ?!" i said
"Who's blondie blunder? " kathy asked
"cindy. the one whom you just now refered as princess i call her blon-"
"Hey cock-roach Bosco I will kill you if you called me this again" Cindy said .
"What the actual hell did you just called me right now?????" i said annoyingly .
"Hey...hey..hey why you guys are fighting like children and carlos be mannerful you are talking to a royal " kathy said .
For the first time I saw cindy's expression changing into something else.... something unusual .
"If you are a princess why are you here ?and why nobody knows you why you hide your identity why you tell people your name Cindy and why the hell you were working in a cafe ? " i asked .
"i am not answerable to you cock-roach " she said
"Well i am interested too in knowing what made you hide your identity?" kathy asked
"To live peacefully...to live a normal life to understand how normal people deal with daily problems the reason why i hid my identity was simple to never grab attention that is the exact reason i didn't joined st.eclàts cause i knew someone or other will recognise me their and then this will spread like fire "
Cindy said .
"Well don't worry we won't tell anyone your secret is safe with us right carlos ?" kathy replied after listening to all this
"Don't trust her she always says to me the same dialogue "
"I do? Well now shut up we have work to do and synthiya....i mean Cindy don't worry i won't even tell this to my bestie " kathy said .
Blondie just nodded when James and lucas came back .
"Oh my god look who's here it's The kathy Bosco the charm of Bosco manor" lucas said
"And sister of your best friend " kathy completed
"When did you came ? " james aksed .
"Few minutes ago" she replied.
"siya knows?" lucas asked
"nope it's a surprise " she replied.
"ok so let's move to the Bosco crown now guys come on chop-chop "
Siya's pov
Birthdays.
I never hated them.
I just never understood why people made such a big deal out of them.
After dad , For most of my life, birthdays were simple.
A homemade cake from Dida.
A few wishes from my siblings.
A warm meal.
That was enough.
So when I woke up on my birthday and nobody seemed to remember, I wasn't surprised.
Not even disappointed.
Just... normal.
My siblings acted suspiciously busy although they brought cake for me .
My phone was unusually quiet.
Even Kathy, who normally wished people at midnight, hadn't called.
Mom was not in town she was out for some work but she somehow managed to call me at 12 to wish .
And Ryan?
Ryan Bosco took me here to prepare for a party :
"Help me select clothes."
Selecting clothes for him .
On my birthday.
Typical.
I helped him in all the stuff and
By 5, I was walking along with Ryan doing some random stuff
First he showed me a new gaming room.
Then a newly renovated lounge.
Then a rooftop garden.
Then some ridiculous collection of vintage motorcycles.
"Ryan."
"Hm?"
"Are you trying to waste my day?"
He looked offended.
"I'm spending my valuable time with you, Pink."
I rolled my eyes.
"Exactly my point."
Then his phone screen popped up with notification.
"Let's go " he said
"Where?" i asked
"to the fifth floor "
He led me toward the fifth floor.
The Crown Hall.
The most exclusive part of Bosco Crown.
The lights were off.
Everything was dark.
"Ryan?"
No answer.
"Ryan, this is how horror movies start."
Still nothing.
Then-
The lights exploded on.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIYAAAA!"
I froze.
Carlos nearly dropped the confetti cannon.
Lucas and James were grinning like idiots.
Cindy waved excitedly from behind the cake.
And then-
My eyes landed on the giant screen.
"Kathy?" I gasped.
Kathy appeared on the screen wearing sunglasses.
"Happy Birthday, bestie!"
I laughed.
"You liar! You're still in Hawaii."
"Unfortunately."
Everyone groaned dramatically.
"I miss you!"
"I miss you too!" Kathy said.
Then suddenly-
The screen went black.
I frowned.
"Kathy?"
The front doors opened.
A familiar voice echoed through the hall.
"Then maybe you should stop looking at the screen."
My heart stopped.
I turned.
And there she was.
Standing at the entrance.
Katherine Bosco.
In person.
Not Hawaii.
Not a video call.
Actually here.
For a second I forgot how to breathe.
Then I ran.
"KATHYYYYY!"
I crashed into her arms.
Kathy laughed as she hugged me back tightly.
"Happy Birthday, Siya."
"What are you doing here?!"
"I flew back this morning."
"You lied to me!"
"It was for the surprise!"
I couldn't stop smiling.
For months I had missed her.
And now she was here.
On my birthday.
---
A while later Ryan appeared beside me.
"Ready to go?"
"Go where?"
"Home."
I frowned.
"But cabasco is going to get started."
Carlos immediately looked away.
Lucas suddenly became interested in the ceiling.
James coughed suspiciously.
Something was wrong.
Very wrong.
---
Ryan simply smiled.
"Trust me, Pink."
That sentence should have become illegal.
Because every time he said it-
I listened.
---
Twenty minutes later we arrived at my dida's place.
The home looked strangely dark.
Almost empty.
I frowned.
"Ryan?"
"Hm?"
"Why are all the lights off?"
"No reason."
"Ryan."
"No reason."
Definitely a reason.
---
The moment the front doors opened-
The entire mansion exploded with cheers.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY SIYAAAAA!"
I jumped.
This time I actually screamed.
Because standing inside were the people I loved most.
My siblings.
Dida.
---
My not so little siblings rushed toward me first.
Dida followed right behind them.
The moment I saw her, my eyes started burning.
"Dida..."
She pulled me into her arms.
"Happy Birthday, my child."
And just like that-
I started crying.
---
The staircase was covered in fairy lights.
Photographs from every stage of my life decorated the walls.
A huge banner stretched across the hall.
And in the center stood a giant cake.
---
I looked around the room.
At my siblings.
At Dida.
At Kathy.
At Cindy.
At Lucas, James, and Carlos.
Then finally-
At Ryan.
Standing quietly in the corner.
Watching everyone else celebrate me.
---
"You planned all of this?" I whispered.
Ryan shrugged.
"Maybe."
Carlos immediately snorted.
"He was instructing us through phone all day "
"CARLOS."
"What? She should know!"
Lucas nodded.
"He made us redo the decorations twice."
"Three times," James corrected.
"Four," Kathy shouted.
Ryan looked genuinely offended.
"It was five."
Everyone burst out laughing.
---
My eyes filled with tears again.
Because for years birthdays had just been another day.
But somehow-
Ryan had managed to gather every person I loved under one roof.
Not at Bosco Crown.
Not at some luxurious party hall.
But at home.
Where family belonged.
And for the first time in my life-
My birthday didn't feel like just a date.
It felt like a memory I would carry forever.
